Dear readers, can you imagine how much goodness and love for God this little girl’s heart holds? How many people are there in this world who have everything, but whose hearts are empty, devoid of goodness and God’s love? Kind people, for the little Khutsidze children, you are the image of God on earth. Don’t let them lose this view of you. Let’s turn the small spark of hope in their hearts into a big flame. Let’s see at least a tiny star shine in the fading eyes of these little angels.

Badri (father, 54 years old): It was 4 in the morning when we heard a loud crack. I grabbed the sleeping children and ran outside. Her husband, Avtandil, already once jailed for domestic violence, is a drunken brute, creating an atmosphere of fear, while his wife and children – Rusudan and Tariel – are hostages of fear and violence! After the brute’s release from prison, they are once again taken hostage by Avtandil. Rusudan has been living in her own world for 23 years now. She never had any friends, and she only talks to herself. “Tariel is afraid of everything. Even the word ‘father’ triggers panic attacks in him. His hands shake, and he starts to stutter.”

“Did you come to help my brother? Did not you?” We’ve been waiting for you so much! I thought every passing car was bringing helpers. He really needs help! He’s such a good person! It’s heartbreaking to see him like this! He’s always crawling. You know how hard it is? I tried it once, and my knees hurt so much I almost cried. And he crawls like that his whole life. If you don’t believe me, try it yourself! Really!
